HillbrowSimone was selected as part of the Dream Team as a multimedia journalist during the World Cup in June 2010 in South Africa. This photograph is of a girl who lives in an abandoned building in crime ridden Hillbrow in central Johannesburg. “I wanted to capture some of my own fear as I entered the building with the teenager through a broken window.”
