The supporters of the Black Stars, The Ghanaian national football team, paint themselves in the colours of the Ghanaian flag before each of their heroes’ matches. This transforms them from ‘normal’ men into the most conspicuous of Ghana’s fans. The series was taken against a bed sheet in a railway station in Circle slum in Accra.
